Revenue Generation

EyeVibe on-portal and off-portal billing integration

EyeVibe is integrated directly into the billing and customer authentication systems of O2, 3, and T-Mobile; mobile subscribers on other networks are billed through Yospace's billing D2C billing partner, Bango. With this integration, the following content revenue models are possible:

  • Time Limited Pass: users purchase a "pass" that allows them access to your content channels for a specified duration. You get to choose the time period of the pass, for example, if you supplying content for a sporting event or current TV programme, you can offer a pass for the whole duration of the event, or to a single day. You receive a share of the revenue from the time limited pass sales to your content.
  • Pay per access: users pay for each video access they make. The price per access is determined on a per-channel basis.
  • Advertising Supported users access content for free, but content contains spliced advertising content. In this model, Yospace will help secure operator portal promotion for your content in order to enhance the visibility of your content channels.

Case Study: [adult swim]

Service screenshots of [adult swim] content surfaced in EyeVibeWhen Turner were looking for new ways to monetize their [adult swim] content, they turned to us to make their content available to the EyeVibe community.  The content was available as high quality source movies which were ingested into yospaceCDS via its FTP interface.

The [adult swim] channel, while being part of the EyeVibe community was branded exclusively to [adult swim].  An access pass is required to access the [adult swim] channel, which is priced at 50p for 24 hours access.  Users simply agree to purchasing the pass and the charge is made directly to their mobile phone bill, because of EyeVibe's integration to operator billing, there is no fuss or pre-registration required to make purchases like this.
