It is possible to extend the range of metadata fields stored against video assets within your yospaceCDS account. The Metadata Set-Up screen is accessible from the Account Setup option in the main menu. This screen allows you set-up the global parameters relating to metadata in your yospaceCDS account and to edit the field definitions within it.

This is the XML namespace that any custom fields you set-up in your account will be qualified with. For example, if you define a field called 'allowAdvertising' it will be expressed with your namespace prepended to it when output in an Advanced MRSS feed. This allows for your custom tags to co-exist unambiguously with standard MRSS fields. Custom namespace tags as expressed in the form content where namespace is the namespace that you define in the XML Namespace field, and tag is the name of the field.
Note: The namespace name must be a valid XML label, alphanumeric with no spaces.
The fields that are stored against videos in your account are displayed in the Metadata Fields section. Each line represents a field, the following information is displayed against each field:
The Edit and Add New Field links take you to the Field Edit Screen.
The two entries, "Restriction" and "Restriction Relationship", in the field type drop-down are special field types that relate to the geo-restriction functionality within yospaceCDS.
To be able to restrict users to individual items of content based on the country they are accessing the content from, you must add both these fields to your metadata schema.
They can be edited via the Metadata tab within the Content Management Console, and you can name them as you like.
